Language Lesson on a drunken London night...

While in London, we met an amazing Scottish band :
Das Contras (You should really drop by their site ; brownies points for them : they have some free downloads ...)

In the wee hours, their Bass player (one of the funniest guy I've ever met) gaved a fair attempt at teaching us some gaelic... Hum...

Michele sent me to see you, Trumpet Player. It's great to be here!

I love hearing a Scottish brogue but oddly enough the accent mostly disappears when singing. Shame!

I don't have speakers here at work but I'll bookmark the URL and give it a listen when I get home. Thanks!

Looks and sounds like you had a blast. I was just thinking while listening to some Celtic stuff that I want to find a course to learn Celtic/gaelic language. Nice site. Here from Michele's and BTW that Scottish band blows (in a good way of course)

Hey - visiting from Michele's.
Sounds like you had an excellent trip! Slightly jealous, I am!
I couldn't view the video - my boyfriend has dial-up here so when I get back home and back to this century - I'll check out the video.

Saw you at Michele's (no where NEAR me, but it was the Shiac that drew me...that and the fact that I'm a trumpet player too...who also speaks English, French and Franglais/Schiac...
