I've often wondered the same thing, namely why so many folks visit and never comment.
I guess some folks would rather read quietly instead of participate in the proceedings. I get that, but, still, it would be nicer if they chimed in every once in a while.
I got a pathetic seven comments on my delurking post, which is about the same or fewer than I get on 'regular' posts. Hmmm...
